Contract Type: Permanent, Part-time
Hours: 24 hours, to be worked over 2-3 days, subject to seasonal adjustment. Must hold a driving licence and be able to drive a manual van.
Foredowne Boarding Kennels & Cattery is predominantly a boarding facility for dogs, looking after our clients pets to the very highest of standards. We also have a rehoming facility where we care for a number of charities dogs and cats.
General knowledge in domestic animals is desirable as the role will involve – cleaning, feeding, exercising and general day to day care of any animals on site. Perspective employees will need to be keen, willing to work alone or part of a team, courteous and have good customer care skills as you will quite often be dealing with members of the public. Most importantly common sense and a passion to work as part of an experienced well established team in the animal care sector.
Driving licence is preferred as you will need to be prepared for delivering and collecting animals and be part of a night service rota when needed.
Full on site training will be giving to any successful applicant.
Hours will vary, starting at 8am sharp, finishing at 5.30pm this will include weekends, Bank holidays, Easter, Christmas & New Year:
